I have been working with Suzanne Gorman of Studio Gorman for closely, renovating a neglected late Victorian house into our much-loved family home. Suzanne cares about the design of our home as if it were her own and I trust her implicitly with all design decisions. The team has worked on our home from the space planning stage, design phase through construction and most recently to decoration with selection and ordering of furniture, window treatments, artwork, soft furnishings, and decorative items. I’ve found Studio Gorman to be passionate about design but practical, with exceptional attention to detail. Their beautiful mood boards, presentations, and drawings help me to visualise finished spaces at the design concept stage before construction even starts. They listen carefully to me and thoughtfully adapt the design to incorporate my feedback.

I just wanted to say that I/we really love the house.
All of the things we dreamed it would one day be, now is. And largely in part to you two.
So Thank You.

We bought our apartment in 2017 because we thought it had the potential to be a very beautiful space. The apartment was on the top floor of a 1930s building and it had plenty of natural light and a functional floor plan. However, the kitchen and bathroom hadn’t been touched for at least 20 years, the apartment had been stripped of any character and the bamboo flooring throughout sloped badly.
Peter and I engaged Suz to work with us on a complete overhaul. We chose Suz because we could see from her earlier work that she would be able to successfully interpret what we wanted, but we also thought she would be able to transform our apartment so much better than we could if we did it on our own. We were confident that she would work with us to come up with a design that reflected our taste and the look we were seeking to achieve in this apartment. Suz and her team brought their knowledge and expertise and did a superb job of fulfilling our brief. It was a rewarding collaborative effort.
